Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences Visits TK Group

On July 13, 2021, a delegation of five members led by Director Feng Wei from Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited TK Group. Mr. Yung Kin Cheung Michael, Chief Executive Officer of the Group, and Mr. Li Leung Yiu, Director of the Group, met with SIAT members in the first-floor conference hall. The delegation then toured the flexible automated mold production units, human-robot collaborative AGV application scenarios, and injection molding MES systems and robotic applications, accompanied by Mr. Lu Gong Shan, General Manager of the Mold Fabrication, and Mr. Yim Cham Sum, General Manager of the Plastic Components. During the subsequent interactive session, both parties exchanged views on future research directions in industrial robotics, AI technology, and mold industry internet applications. In the meeting held in the Group's 10th-floor conference room, Mr. Li Pui Leung, Chairman of the Group, expressed hope that SIAT could establish effective interaction with enterprises in scientific research and applied technology transformation, converting scientists' research achievements into enterprises' technological competitiveness, jointly promoting the positive role of enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in improving quality, efficiency, and refined development. Both parties agreed to continue implementing communication and coordination between senior management and specific technical projects. Future cooperation modes may include project collaboration, joint laboratories, and collaborative innovation centers to promote further partnership between the two parties.
