On July 7, the Guangming District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) successfully held a mobilization meeting for poverty alleviation work and "Enterprise Anti-Bribery" Alliance in the Guangming District Committee's multi-function conference room. The meeting aimed to further implement the central, provincial, municipal, and district committees' counterpart assistance work arrangements and the district committee's integrated promotion of the "Three Nos" requirements. The meeting was chaired by Mai Kuidi, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of Guangming District and Vice Chairman of the Guangming District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce), with attendees including Qin Jingteng, Standing Committee Member and Director of the United Front Work Department of Guangming District; Ma Zhizhong, Member of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commission of Guangming District, Standing Committee Member of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Guangming District; Li Tiehua, Deputy Director of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Guangming District; Mr. Li Pui Leung, Chairman of the Guangming District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce); representatives from the Guangming District CPPCC's industry, commerce, and economic sectors; street chambers of commerce of Guangming District; and member enterprise representatives of the Guangming District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce).
In his speech, Qin Jingteng, Standing Committee Member and Director of the United Front Work Department of Guangming District, fully affirmed the achievements of the district's entrepreneurs in actively participating in poverty alleviation work over the years, particularly highlighting their generous donations and unified efforts during the pandemic and their important role in Guangming District's pandemic prevention and control. He also provided several suggestions regarding the counterpart assistance of Guangming District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) for Tianlin County's education poverty alleviation project and the "Enterprise Anti-Bribery" Alliance.
First, he emphasized thoroughly understanding the Central Party Committee's poverty alleviation spirit and comprehensively implementing poverty alleviation strategic deployments of the Central Party Committee, provincial, municipal and district authorities, focusing on long-term mechanisms, achieving precise assistance, mobilizing social forces, and building consensus on poverty alleviation. District entrepreneurs must strengthen their sense of mission, responsibility, and urgency in participating in poverty alleviation, gathering the broadest confidence and strength to win the battle against poverty. Second, he stressed thoroughly implementing central decisions and deployments, promoting the integrated advancement of making officials not dare to be corrupt, not able to be corrupt, and not want to be corrupt. District entrepreneurs must further elevate their political position, resolutely implement "enterprise anti-bribery" requirements, actively establish an "Enterprise Anti-Bribery" Alliance, and maintain the momentum of anti-corruption efforts without letting up, without stopping, and with renewed determination, to further consolidate the overwhelming victory in the fight against corruption.
At the mobilization meeting, Ma Zhizhong, Member of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Supervisory Commission of Guangming District, Standing Committee Member of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Guangming District announced the work plan and related measures for the "Enterprise Anti-Bribery" Alliance activities, calling on all district enterprises to join the alliance, practice anti-bribery commitments, embed integrity into corporate culture, strengthen corporate integrity risk prevention and control, and gradually promote a new pattern of comprehensive anti-corruption. Li Tiehua, Deputy Director of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Guangming District, expressed commitment to actively supporting and cooperating in the establishment of the "Enterprise Anti-Bribery Alliance," and committed to creating a healthy government-business ecosystem, firmly opposing bribery, and creating a fair and transparent development environment.
Mr. Li Pui Leung, Chairman of the Guangming District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce), stated that member enterprises should shoulder the responsibilities of the era and fully respond to the district committee and government's call. First, actively form the "Enterprise Anti-Bribery" Alliance, striving to become an important tool in the district committee's integrated promotion of the "Three Nos," vigorously cultivating corporate integrity culture, and continuously strengthening corporate integrity risk prevention awareness. Second, actively assume social responsibility, especially at this crucial moment in poverty alleviation, inheriting and carrying forward the fine tradition of unity and cooperation, implementing precise counterpart assistance through donations and educational support.
Participating entrepreneurs also expressed that, as participants, beneficiaries, and witnesses of reform and opening up, they will shoulder their mission, give back to society with gratitude, promote the spirit of great love, work with one heart with the party committee and government and strive together with disadvantaged groups, contribute to the decisive victory in the battle against poverty. They will demonstrate social responsibility through practical actions, work together to help impoverished people achieve prosperity, jointly pursue the happy life of moderate prosperity, and gather strong momentum for building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects.
