Thenovel coronavirus pneumonia affects us and PPEs are in short. During the periodof epidemic, with the leadership of Mr. Alan P. L. Li, TK responded to thegovernment’s deployment of epidemic prevention and control at the first timeand took efficient measures. Besides, taking the lead in donating 300,000 yuan,TK launched an initiative in the name of Shenzhen Guangming Community ofIndustry and Commerce, advocating member enterprises to donate materials andmoney. The fund raised, a total of 1,083,000 yuan, was used to buy PPEs, including100,000 disposable medical masks and 200,000 disposable medical protectiveclothing. Such PPEs were offered to the Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquartersof Guangming District(Picture 1).

Mr.Alan P. L. Li spared no effort to mobilize resources. TK donated 10,000 medicalprotective masks, 2,000 surgical gowns and 142 protective clothing to the ThirdAffiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen University, Shenzhen Eighth People’s Hospitaland Guangming Zhongshan Seventh People’s hospital. To support the work ofGuangming District, TK donated 3,000 surgical gowns and 10,000 masks to the Bureauof Industry and Information Technology of Guangming District and the UnitedFront Work Department of Guangming District. TK donated 200,000 yuan to theCharity Federation of Guangming District and 100,000 yuan to Hong Kong SocietyAssociation, and offered support to “Rescue Wuhan”. In addition, TK totally donatedPPEs to a number of institutions, including 5,000 masks to Lam Tai Fai College,20,000 masks to the People’s Government of Yuanzhou Town, valuing about HK $1million.
